Senator John Curtis highlights Utah initiatives and local infrastructure needs

Senator John Curtis, who represents Utah’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on social media regarding recent state initiatives and meetings with local officials.

On February 24, 2026, Curtis posted about Utah’s efforts to protect children and vulnerable groups while promoting American leadership in advanced technologies. He wrote, “Utah is leading the charge in forward-looking approaches that keep our kids and vulnerable populations safe while also ensuring American leadership in advanced technologies like AI. Thank you for having me, Executive Director @MargaretBusse and @AGDerekBrown.”

The following day, Curtis addressed infrastructure needs related to regional growth. On February 25, 2026, he stated, “To accommodate Washington County’s tremendous growth and maintain residents’ way of life, we need to make smart infrastructure investments. Good meeting with Washington County Commissioners for a discussion on the Northern Corridor.”

Later that same day, Curtis commented on national issues by sharing his perspective on the President’s State of the Union address: “My thoughts on the President’s State of the Union address:”

Curtis has served as a member of Congress since 2017 after replacing Jason Chaffetz. He was born in Salt Lake City in 1960 and currently resides in Provo. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1985.
