Utah lost 112 soldiers in the Korean war and 243 in the Vietnam conflict.
Consumers visiting the store at 95 N Main St, Fillmore will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Sevier Valley Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.
This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.
Flags will be available at Roper Lumber Co Inc while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.
