4.2% of Emery County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Emery County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 170 people out of the 9,839 living in Emery County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Emery County has increased compared to the 3.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Emery County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.5%.

Of the 3,873 people who had a job during that time, 11 were employed in the Armed Forces and 3,862 belonged to the civilian labor force.
