Rep. John Curtis, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Utah’s 3rd district since 2017, recently shared a series of posts on social media discussing national holidays, confirmations of key government positions, and his commitment to small businesses.

On February 17, 2025, Curtis took to social media to reflect on Presidents’ Day, emphasizing the importance of the American people in making the country great. He stated: "As we pause to celebrate Presidents’ Day today, let’s not forget what truly makes this country great: the American people."

The following day, February 18, 2025, he expressed satisfaction with the confirmation of Howard Lutnick as Secretary of Commerce. In his post, Curtis mentioned their discussions on various issues before the vote: "I was pleased to help confirm Howard Lutnick as Secretary of Commerce. Prior to the vote, we discussed strengthening Utah’s Silicon Slopes, cutting burdensome regulations, and holding China accountable for IP theft. I look forward to working with him to advance these priorities."

On February 19, 2025, Curtis turned his attention towards small businesses while congratulating Kelly Loeffler on her confirmation as SBA Administrator. He reiterated his support for small enterprises by stating: "Small businesses are the backbone of our economy, and I remain committed to ensuring they have the resources and support they need to thrive. Congratulations to @KLoeffler on her confirmation as SBA Administrator. I look forward to working with her and her team to strengthen…"
