On March 25, 2025, Rep. Curtis addressed the ongoing impacts of wildfires in Utah. He emphasized the importance of swift rehabilitation and restoration efforts post-fire to prevent further damage to the land. In his words: "As Utahns know, the impacts of a wildfire do not end when the fire is put out. Without swift action to rehabilitate and restore the land, it is left vulnerable to further damage. Our legislation removes unnecessary bureaucratic red tape and other barriers that are holding back".
Later that day, Curtis highlighted Utah's wool industry as a significant contributor to the state's economy. He expressed gratitude for meeting with local wool growers and acknowledged their role in stewardship and economic contribution: "Utah’s wool industry is an important part of our economy, with our state ranking fifth in the nation for lamb and wool production.
