Senator John Curtis, representing Utah's 3rd district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, has shared several recent reflections on important events and themes. Born in Salt Lake City in 1960 and a Brigham Young University graduate, Curtis has been conveying messages that are significant to both his constituents and broader audiences.

On April 20, Curtis shared an Easter message, expressing well-wishes for a "meaningful and peaceful Easter" to all Utah residents. He stated, "Christ the Lord is risen today—Alleluia! On this Easter Sunday, may we grow in faith, experience renewal, and celebrate with the people who matter most to us."

A day later, on April 21, Curtis addressed the passing of Pope Francis. He mentioned the Pope's life of humility and compassion, noting his impact on many lives. According to Curtis, "Pope Francis lived an exemplary life marked by humility and compassion—blessing countless lives with his service and leadership. As we mourn his loss, Sue and I pray for those who turned to him for guidance and encouragement, including those in Utah’s Catholic community."

In a post on April 22, Curtis turned attention to environmental stewardship on Earth Day. He highlighted Utah's natural beauty and encouraged mindful conservation practices, stating "In Utah, we are surrounded by some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world—and responsible stewardship of the land, air, and water is a reflection of our pioneer heritage. This Earth Day, let’s recommit to those values, and honor our responsibility to future generations."
