Rep. John Curtis, who has served in the U.S. Congress representing Utah’s 3rd District since 2017, recently shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. Curtis, born in Salt Lake City and a graduate of Brigham Young University, lives in Provo.

On March 5, 2025, Rep. Curtis expressed his appreciation for the President's address to Congress. In his tweet, he stated: "I enjoyed hearing from the President tonight. My thoughts on his address to Congress: https://t.co/jjYpRvuEwd".

Later that day, he addressed the financial strain caused by child care costs. He emphasized legislative efforts to alleviate this burden by updating tax credits and supporting businesses that offer caregiving benefits: "The price of child care is making it more difficult to raise a family... our bill puts money back into the pockets of hardworking parents."

In another post on March 5th, Curtis highlighted efforts towards water conservation in Utah households. He advocated for changes in federal tax policy to support these initiatives: "Utah households are working to be more water efficient... our bill rewards Utahns for adopting sustainable practices to conserve water."
