Rep. John Curtis, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Utah’s 3rd district, shared his perspectives and recent activities through a series of tweets on February 12 and 13, 2025. These posts reflect his decision-making process regarding a nomination, discussions on public health trust, and engagement with youth programs.

On February 12, Curtis announced his decision to support Tulsi Gabbard's nomination as Director of National Intelligence. He emphasized that this decision was made after a thorough process involving examination of her nomination and consultations with experts. Curtis stated: "After working through a process, examining her nomination, consulting with experts, and following my conscience, I will be voting for Tulsi Gabbard as Director of National Intelligence."

The following day, February 13, Curtis recounted a meeting with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., where they discussed concerns about rebuilding trust in public health institutions. The discussion included topics such as access to factual information and effective vaccines: "When Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and I met, we discussed my concerns on rebuilding trust in our public health institutions—including ensuring Americans have access to factual information."

Later that day, Curtis expressed his support for the Civil Air Patrol’s cadet program after meeting with cadets from Utah. He praised the program for providing young people with aerospace education and leadership preparation: "The Civil Air Patrol’s cadet program provides young people a hands-on aerospace education while uniquely preparing them to lead and serve."
